I Know 04:23
I Know (A. Paddick) I meet you by the stairs The light is on your skin Yeah, I know you’ve got cares So I let your voice begin Yeah, I Know We meet on mutual ground You ask me to explain You said I let you down ‘Cause I couldn’t stay the same Yeah, I know I tell you how I feel As if I really can You say this can’t be real Like I don’t know who I am But I know I know
2.
Worth It 05:26
Worth It (A. Paddick) Just when I make my mind up, you come out of nowhere You turn me right around ‘til I am back there You ruined my creation, I thought you were not worth it Now there’s nothing I can do, I’m back I can’t help it What a beautiful frustration, a wonderful dilemma My cold imagination couldn’t stand What a beautiful frustration, a wonderful dilemma My cold imagination couldn’t stand forever Absence made me recreate, you totally transformed I deleted all that made you great to feel that I’d been warned You’ll forever be the way you are I think I’ll keep my eyes open, now I don’t wanna blink What a beautiful frustration, a wonderful dilemma My cold imagination couldn’t stand What a beautiful frustration, a wonderful dilemma My cold imagination couldn’t stand forever
3.
Walking When 03:16
Walking When (A. Paddick) I go out walking when I feel alone and I don’t wanna call a home a home I go out walking when I’m lonely I don’t want nobody I don’t wanna be I talk in circles when I can’t agree My head is fighting with my body I talk in circles when I oppose you I don’t even know who I am talking to I wanna tell you that it’s all ok That I don’t mean what I think anyway I wanna tell you that it’s all alright If we could just give up the fight Walking when I’m lonely I don’t want nobody
4.
Come and Play (B. Paddick) You’re alright now, you’re home safe at last Your warn out mind’s released from the past Your dad is here, your mums on the phone The mist is clear, you can feel it in your bones Come and play – The lights turned on, no need to hide Come and play – The Walls are long gone, I’m by your side Come and play – There’s no need to run, there’s nothing in the way Come and play – So won’t you come? Come and play You’ve done your time for a crime that wasn’t yours You’ve made that climb, you’ve broken off the claws The future’s here and your innocence remains The coast is clear, and now you grab the reins Come and play – The lights turned on, no need to hide Come and play – The Walls are long gone, I’m by your side Come and play – There’s no need to run, there’s nothing in the way Come and play – So won’t you come? Come and play
5.
Now 04:25
Now (A. Paddick) I’ve only been half doing things I won’t stand on solid ground I’ve been waiting in the wings Nowhere to be found I’m always living with the fear of letting somebody down I’m ready to go with you But it’s got to be now Now I’m here You tell me you ain’t got the time To wait another day But it’s so heavy on your mind You can’t hear me when I say There’s nothing in the way Now I’m here I’m trying to make the most of a good thing But the day is disappearing I’m trying to make the most of a good thing But the day is almost gone
6.
Leaving me Behind (A. Paddick) You used to teach me everything You kept me safe under your wing I used to cry at night sometimes And you’d tell me everything would be fine So, why Why are you leaving me behind I can’t bear the thought We were together rest and play While you would dream of far away I felt like I was safe and sound But I needed you around So, why Why are you leaving me behind I can’t bear the thought I am not the same I thought I knew what I was to you You think you can walk up and say That you have had your time away But life isn’t like a chasing game I’ve stood alone I’m not the same
7.
Your Technique (A. Paddick) When I am wrong you feel right When I am heavy you feel light When I am lost you feel found and when I’m insane you feel sound But it’s only comfort by comparison When I am weak you feel stronger When my time is short yours seems longer When my day is shit yours is fantastic And when I feel stiff you’re elastic But it’s only comfort by comparison And you only know one way to let me in I can see right through you Your technique does not ring true It’s not working well for you and I know you see this too ‘Cause when I’m free you can’t escape When I am grounded you relocate When I remember, you forget your own name And when I am winning, you think you’ve lost the game But you’re only suffering by comparison
8.
The Road 03:49
The Road (A. Paddick & C. Meyer) Sometimes you’re so hard to talk to Sometimes you’re so hard to find Sometimes I try to exploit you Tell me you don’t mind There is a road that we’re travelling There’s a way still to go All our ideas are unraveling At least we know that we don’t know When the road below is speeding And we’ve come a way from home Oh, we cannot bear repeating What we’ve known I see the light that we’re chasing Though we are only brand new I feel the shift that we’re facing There’s not a thing to hold on to When the road below is speeding And we’ve come a way from home Oh, we cannot bear repeating What we’ve known What we have known We cannot bear repeating what we’ve known

Everything I Know (A. Paddick) Everything I know is in this song Everything I know Everywhere I go, you come along Everywhere I go Every time I call I’m playing host Every time I call Every time I fall I see your ghost Every time I fall Everyone I meet is holding tight Everyone I meet Everybody’s street is dark at night Everybody’s street

about

The process of writing songs (representations and expressions of my lived experiences), and then working co-creatively with Ben, Christian, and Alan, to explore the dynamic and resonant meaningfulness of those songs, has been a consistent source of nourishment and wonder for me throughout the years I’ve been making music with them (in Ben’s case, my whole life). I will be forever grateful for sharing creative processes with these beautiful people, for the rich sensitivity and expressive capacities that they share through music making and through their multitudinous ways of being brilliant people in the world. Thank you to you three, for all of the integrity, sincerity, silliness, generosity and glorious noise that you bring.

And a big thank you to our families and friends, upon whom Everything I Know depends.
